Overview

WiSC Enterprises has a potential opening for a Senior Business Analyst at the Defense Health Agency’s Contracting and Acquisition Support Services (CASS) program. This contract has not been awarded and is expected to be awarded in January or February 2025.

 

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be expected to assist and support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) with implementation and integration of procurement systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions using Agile processes. The ideal Senior Business Analyst will strive to produce high-quality work through collaboration with team members and customers while making a difference through individual contributions to ensure project success for DHA and all customers.

 

This is an onsite position in the Defense Health Agency location in Aurora, CO.

 

Compensation range: $130,000.00/Yr. - $160,000.00/Yr.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support to lead and provide technical direction involving multiple projects of high complexity with the DoD.
  • Assist and support efforts directing the completion of projects within estimated timeframes and budget constraints.
  • Support and assist in implementing complex ERP solutions.
  • Escalate risks, issues, concerns, and recommended solutions to client.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with all levels of management. Interface and communicate with the client and executives on a day-to-day basis.
  • Utilize initiative to set goals and execute plans to achieve these goals.
  • Coordinate and conduct customer work sessions to gather and document requirements.
  • Configure system settings based on customer requirements.
  • Collaborate to translate business requirements into system requirements for configuration.
  • Learn system capabilities to provide support as a subject matter expert.
  • Assist in developing and approving communication strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and lead senior-level client meetings.
  • Assist with system testing.
  • Prepare and present systems training to users.
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures as needed and incorporate flowcharts, processes, steps, and other content that show how to implement a process that could have a yes or no outcome. Collect information, analyze the data from the information collected, and come up with a solution to a problem.
  • Support the development of an initial system roll-out training plan for the most effective rapid deployment.
  • Provide support and assist with system user issues, or on any other identified tasks. 
  • Provide guidance and direction for specific tasks and sub-task.

Required Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or Business. One year of related work experience may be substituted for each year of required education. 
  • Must be a US Citizen and eligible to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • 10 years of experience with the procurement business process.
  • 5 years of experience with DoD procurement systems and performing process improvement, business analytics, gap analysis, corrective actions, standard operation procedures (SOP) development, and/or Policy development, Project Management, Estimation, and Planning. 
  • 3 years of experience or knowledge with the following:
    • IT systems functional analysis, requirements design, test development, and test execution. 
    • Preparing and presenting systems training to users.
    • Software development lifecycle.
  • Experience in working both independently and with a team to solve problems.
  • Self-starter with initiative and aptitude to quickly learn and put new skills to use.
  • Experience working in one-on-one, small group, and large group settings to facilitate and support the contract requirements. 

Computer Skills

  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft suite of applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project as well as with Adobe Acrobat.
