Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance on DoD and IC acquisition processes, with an emphasis on GEOINT standards and architectural best practices.

  • Support the conformance, implementation, and validation of geospatial intelligence standards across integrated systems.

  • Collaborate with data governance and standards organizations such as DISR and ICSR to ensure compliance and alignment.

  • Coordinate with interoperability and testing bodies to support the evaluation of GEOINT data performance and integration.

  • Develop and maintain architecture artifacts using frameworks such as DoDAF to support enterprise system design and planning.

  • Contribute to future capability planning, including support to defense modernization and emerging mission systems.

  • Assist with outreach, documentation, and standards-related advisory services across cross-functional technical teams.

  • Recommend testing protocols, data exchange models, and conformance strategies to ensure mission readiness and interoperability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Geospatial Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).

  • Strong knowledge of geospatial standards, structured data frameworks, and system conformance practices.

  • Familiarity with federal data governance tools and registries (e.g., DISR, ICSR).

  • Experience developing and interpreting DoDAF artifacts or similar enterprise architecture models.

  • Proven ability to assess data interoperability and contribute to large-scale system integration projects.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility required.
