WiSC Enterprises is seeking a dynamic Systems Engineering & Architecture Lead to support enterprise-scale digital transformation efforts, including the design and implementation of secure architectures, cloud migration strategies, and intelligent automation initiatives. This role blends traditional systems engineering expertise with advanced capabilities in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML).
Provide subject matter expertise in systems engineering and architecture design across enterprise programs and mission operations
Lead the planning, development, and management of MBSE and architecture initiatives that support new capabilities, operations, or production environments
Develop and manage digital transformation programs focused on adapting legacy systems and processes to hybrid (classified and unclassified) cloud environments
Guide the implementation of IA/AI/ML strategies, including workflow optimization and automation across large and complex datasets
Define and track system requirements, conduct trade studies, manage T&E (Test & Evaluation), and align architecture strategies with program milestones, cost, schedule, and risk profiles
Collaborate across cross-functional teams—including cybersecurity, intelligence analysis, and R&D teams—to ensure cohesive and secure integration
Support documentation, roadmap development, and briefings for leadership and stakeholders
Clearance: Active TS/SCI required
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
Experience:
Minimum 6 years of experience in systems engineering or enterprise architecture roles, preferably within a DoD or Intelligence Community environment
Hands-on experience with MBSE frameworks, tools (e.g., Cameo, MagicDraw), and digital engineering practices
Experience designing and integrating systems in cloud or hybrid environments (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or private classified cloud solutions)
Proven success in planning or leading AI/ML or intelligent automation projects
Skills:
Strong understanding of systems lifecycle processes including requirements definition, design, T&E, and sustainment
Knowledge of DoD acquisition strategy, architecture standards (e.g., DoDAF), and secure system design principles
Familiarity with AI/ML toolsets, data engineering workflows, and cloud orchestration techniques
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to brief technical and non-technical audiences
