WiSC Enterprises is seeking an experienced Modeling, Simulation, and IV&V Analyst to support the development, assessment, and validation of modeling and simulation (M&S) capabilities. This role focuses on evaluating complex threat systems, guiding scenario-based simulations, and conducting independent verification and validation (IV&V) of vendor-provided M&S tools to ensure they meet technical and operational requirements.
Guide the development and management of modeling and simulation (M&S) programs focused on characterizing adversary capabilities and threat systems
Support the design and execution of M&S programs for detailed engagement scenario analysis and mission planning
Conduct independent verification and validation (IV&V) of vendor-supplied M&S systems to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with government requirements
Evaluate simulation outputs for consistency, reliability, and operational relevance to intended use cases
Work closely with systems engineers, analysts, and government stakeholders to refine model parameters and ensure alignment with program objectives
Contribute to the development of technical documentation, validation reports, and model performance briefs
Recommend improvements or modifications to M&S approaches based on analysis outcomes, user feedback, and evolving mission needs
Clearance: Active TS/SCI required
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or related technical field (Master’s preferred)
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in modeling and simulation, systems analysis, or IV&V within a defense, aerospace, or intelligence environment
Experience guiding or conducting M&S of adversary systems, threat modeling, or engagement scenarios
Familiarity with simulation tools, frameworks, and software commonly used in defense applications (e.g., AFSIM, STK, MATLAB, Simulink)
Skills:
Strong understanding of M&S lifecycle, validation principles, and test methodologies
