Overview

WiSC Enterprises is seeking a versatile Mission Support Specialist to assist in executing a wide range of support functions for national security missions. This position offers direct support across engineering, administrative, training, financial, facility, and cybersecurity domains. The ideal candidate will have experience working in secure environments and supporting operational execution within a classified government setting.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Assistance: Perform general office support functions including front-desk coverage, visitor coordination, document routing, file maintenance, and calendar management for leadership staff

  • Protocol Support: Coordinate distinguished visitor (DV) engagements, manage approval processes, support agenda development, and track event execution

  • Training Support: Assist with developing and executing training programs that enhance organizational effectiveness and mission execution

  • Financial Management Support: Assist resource managers in budget planning, tracking expenditures, identifying funding constraints, and monitoring obligation rates

  • Facility Engineering Support: Provide architectural and engineering oversight of NASIC facilities, including mechanical, electrical, and utility systems; support engineering studies and facility enhancements

  • Security Program Support: Support execution and evaluation of security activities across disciplines (Information, Industrial, Personnel Security), perform quality reviews, and assist with workflow documentation

  • Secure Facility Operations: Support classified facility oversight including access control, alarm response, accreditation documentation, and secure facility policies/procedures

  • IT & Cybersecurity Support: Assist in the planning, oversight, and execution of IT and cybersecurity programs across unclassified through SAP-level environments; support both stand-alone and enterprise-wide networks, including classified cloud solutions

Required Qualifications

  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI required (with eligibility for SAP access if needed)

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Security Studies, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience:

    • 4+ years of experience in administrative, operations, engineering, or IT support within a defense or intelligence environment

    • Familiarity with secure facility operations, classified computing environments, or security protocols

    • Prior experience supporting program execution, logistics, or customer-facing mission operations

  • Skills:

    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in high-security environments

    • Proficiency with office productivity tools, facility engineering concepts, or security documentation depending on task alignment

    • Ability to handle sensitive or classified materials in accordance with government requirements
