Overview

The Junior SIGINT Analyst performs routine analysis of communications and electronic signals to support intelligence operations. The analyst works under general supervision and contributes to mission-focused SIGINT reporting.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze SIGINT data to identify basic signal characteristics, patterns, and anomalies

  • Perform signal classification and basic technical analysis

  • Produce routine SIGINT intelligence reports and serialized reporting

  • Support operational tasking and collection management requirements

  • Collaborate with all-source analysts to integrate SIGINT-derived insights

  • Apply SIGINT tradecraft standards and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of communications systems, protocols, or RF environments

  • Ability to analyze structured and unstructured signal data

  • Strong technical writing and reporting skills

  • Familiarity with SIGINT tools, databases, and analytic workflows

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Minimum 4 years total experience, including at least 2 years of specialized SIGINT experience
